Chris Morton tells us how CarCapsule protects his motorcycles against the ravages of humidity.

Q: How long have has your CarCapsule been in service?
A: I have two CarCapsule models; I’ve been using my Indoor BikeCapsule for a few months, and I have an Indoor Bike ShowCase that’s been in use for two or three weeks.

Q: Where and how do you use your CarCapsules?
A: I have them set up in my garage

Q: What vehicles are stored in the capsules?
A: I have a Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide in the BikeCapsule, and a Harley Ultra Limited in the ShowCase. I use the Ultra more often, so I store it in the ShowCase as it is easiest to get in and out of.

Q: What was the main reason you purchased your CarCapsules?
A: I live on a ranch, and it’s very dusty. I had been using traditional covers for my motorcycles but dust still got up under the covers, and the bikes got filthy. Plus spiders would make webs under the covers. The capsules seal the bikes away from that. I bought a bubble, and it worked well. So I bought another one.

Q: How did you hear about CarCapsule?
A: I was telling a friend that I just couldn’t keep the bikes clean, and he recommended I check out CarCapsule.

Q: Have you ever had any problems with your CarCapsule?
A: No

Q: Overall, how do you feel about your CarCapsule?
A: I have a lot invested in my motorcycles, and the issue I had with dust really opened my eyes to protecting my investment. I spend time and money having my motorcycles refurbished and detailed, and I want to preserve that by keeping them clean. The capsules keep them just as clean as they were when put away. Also, I have added accessories to the bikes - like the Dyna has custom chrome wheels and other chrome added. The high humidity here in Texas causes condensation to build-up, causing tiny rust spots to form on the chrome, and rusty chrome isn’t good to show off! However, the capsules’ circulate air inside which dramatically reduces the amount of condensation that collects. I looked at how the capsules reduce maintenance labor, which reduces cost, and that made their purchase an easy economic decision. I think the CarCapsule is an excellent value – ultimately they save me money.
