Needed this a long time ago...
I have had a 71 Monte Carlo for some time now and I had done some extensive work on it to restore it. Garage kept and with a fitted cover over it. As time goes on it became a shelf for others in the household (possibly to irritate me), and it did. NOBODY sane wants random items accumulating on their hard work. To top off all this we had a few mice (we live between pastures so when they get bus-hogged they just come running) and they had a field day IN MY CAR. I said, "thats the last straw" enough damage has been done and all I need is a cat to rip up the vinyl top so I pulled the trigger and got this massive capsule! I can really rest at peace (other than my pockets) that my car will be safe form the outside elements like hail, snow, small limbs, gum-balls, rodents, and ants. Im extremely happy with the purchase and it freed up space in the garage for other things.
I will say you probably need a buddy to help you put that cover over the car. It's packin some weight and will be takin multi trips around the car. Ideal would to have it under a carport with some pulleys or something holding the capsule up when its deflated with the heady duty d-rings. Thats my next step anyways!
The fans put out some noise but you get used to it after a while. Kinda reminds me of leaves blowing across the pavement.
